A highlight of Geislinger Digital Solutions is the new Geislinger Monitoring System Mk6, which enables the early detection of wear or fault patterns through torsional vibration and power monitoring of the powertrain. Maintenance can thus be planned more accurately, saving time and money on unplanned repairs. On the software side, the newly implemented cloud-based Geislinger Analytics Platform (GAP) utilizes big data analysis in combination with information from the Geislinger Monitoring System to perform predictive analysis and anomaly detection. It also allows ship operators and technical staff to remotely gain insights into vessel and fleet performance. With stricter CII regulations on the horizon, features such as shaft power and vibration monitoring, along with efficient data storage are becoming increasingly important.
Not only its Digital, but also Geislinger’s Hybrid Solutions offer means to reduce emissions. By optimizing engine speed through a flexible hybrid solution, the time between maintenance intervals can be massively extended and also fuel consumption can be reduced significantly. With its GESILCO® composite product line, Geislinger offers a wide range of misalignment couplings for use in series or parallel hybrid applications. In purely electric operation, both torsional vibrations in the drive train and noise radiation into the water can be significantly reduced. The SILENCO® coupling from Geislinger is the perfect solution for this, as it provides optimal acoustic attenuation. The excellent lightweight design of all GESILCO® products helps to increase the overall efficiency of the system. Geislinger's broad product portfolio offers a “BUILT TO LAST” powertrain solution for almost every type of vessel.
