Due to the increasing production volume over the last years, the extensions of Geislinger’s production halls were a necessary step to be ready for future challenges. On June 12th the new factory building was opened with a festive ceremony by Dr. Wilfried Haslauer, the governor of Salzburg.

The new production hall covers an area of 2.300m², increasing the entire area at the production site in Salzburg to more than 19.500 m². The material flow of incoming and outgoing goods has been improved which enables a flexible and time efficient production as well as shorter delivery times.
Combining the space concept of openness, dynamic and vibration, the architecture of the new building fits perfectly into the holistic approach of the corporate philosophy. The sophisticated concept of the hall creates a pleasant workspace, flooded with light from the skylight windows and the white floor, which leads to a positive and bright atmosphere. The extension of the newly built production hall skillfully combines functionality with aesthetical requirements.
Furthermore a new production hall with a total surface area of 5.988m² was completed in April this year in Bad St. Leonhard/Carinthia (Austria) which enlarges the production area for products made of fibre composite materials. Since innovation in the field of couplings and dampers is regarded as one of the main approaches, Geislinger is perfectly equipped for future market challenges, taking into consideration the business location of Austria as being an important key to long-term success.
