What may appear to be a waste product thus becomes a valuable resource for shipping. The compressed leakage gas now serves as an additional fuel for the ship’s engine. This breakthrough not only enables a more efficient use of resources, but also makes a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions, as this technology allows us to save environmentally harmful gas in the energy cycle.
Additionally, our couplings and dampers allow compressors to be operated at variable speeds. This flexibility has not only revolutionised the handling of leakage gas, but also eliminates problems when starting and stopping the compressor. The speed variability not only increases efficiency, but also extends the service life of the machines, which in turn leads to lower maintenance costs.
