At the production site in Bad St. Leonhard, Geislinger has completed the largest construction project in the company’s history. The ultra-modern and highly productive plant with state-of-the art technology secures the production location in Austria and thus lays the groundwork for the company’s future.

As in the past, a lot of investments have underlined the innovative spirit and competitiveness of the company. To meet the increasing demand for fibre composite products a new manufacturing hall was already completed in 2015 in Bad St. Leonhard. With the new extension, the next investment step has been completed successfully – the ultra-modern and highly productive manufacturing plant is designed to meet the highest customer demands. Besides an additional Gesilco® hall to produce products made from fibre composites, the production space for steel products has been enlarged. Furthermore, the productivity is improved by an optimization of the process flow and efficient infrastructure for delivery and storage. Besides this, the social infrastructure, like recreation rooms, sanitary facilities and parking possibilities have been enlarged to perfectly adapt to the requirements of the staff.
The Austrian-based company distinguishes itself by having misalignment couplings with complex design and shafts with integrated flanges. Besides standard solutions, Gesilco® products are customized for specific applications. Gesilco® products are characterized by their lightweight design by which a weight reduction of up to 90% in comparison to standard solutions can be achieved.

Due to its high manufacturing depth – from development, design, to mould design, and to construction, everything is handled in-house and fast lead times are ensured. The experienced and highly qualified Gesilco®-team masters all common manufacturing processes, furthermore ultra-modern test benches are available for all Gesilco® product groups.
More than 60 years of experience with couplings and dampers in industry applications, more than 25 years of experience with advanced composite materials and more than 7 years of experience with hydrofoils make Geislinger the ideal development partner for individually customized powertrain solutions. Development, design, and manufacturing is handled in-house, which gives Geislinger a unique competitive advantage.
